Cover: Those who forget history can
learn
it again ... from a reenactor! Mason Dixon Line enthusiast Pete
Zapadka leads a hike every October along Dunkard Creek to the spot
where the survey to establish Pennsylvania's southern border was
stopped Oct. 8, 1767, by the Native American guides. Now the voice
of the people who struck treaties with the British and French
and those who led the survey team has been added to the story. Above,
intrepid
18th century reenactor Doug Wood, appearing last year as an Iroquois
guide and representative of the Onondaga Council,
will return with his family and friends for this year's hike on Oct.
16 at Mason Dixon Park, Core W. Va.
